With their first full-length album out next week, the fearsome foursome Everyday Ghosts are on the brink of genre-bending domination.
Everyday Ghosts is a 4-piece “tribal-rock” band based in Orlando, Florida. The music draws upon many rhythmic influences including funk, afrobeat, latin and jazz to create a unique sound that resonates familiarity but invokes the exotic as well. Since the introduction of newcomer Ben Browne on drums, the musical direction of the band continues to grow and has shifted from traditional structured songs to centering on live improvisation and channeling a raw, primitive, danceable energy that radiates in the Everyday Ghosts’ high-powered performances.
